Easter Egg Knocking Contest (sponsored by City of Marksville)
Details
The City of Marksville host an annual Easter Egg Knocking Contest on Easter Sunday morning on the Courthouse Square in downtown Marksville. Marksville has received State, National, and International recognition for this contest. Categories include: Chicken Egg Contest must have 3 hard boil chicken eggs in all age groups which begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Guinea Egg Contest must have 3 hard boil guinea eggs in all age groups. Age Groups: Toddlers ages 1-7 Adults ages 8-up. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th places ages 8-up. Prizes given to all toddlers win or lose.
